Vienna is home to no less than three opera houses, so it is not surprising that some also call it the “City of Music”.
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is located in the east of the country, on the Danube. The city’s artistic and intellectual heritage has been shaped by its inhabitants and Sigmund Freud. The city is also known for its imperial palaces, including Schoenbrunn, the summer residence of the Habsburgs. In the Museumsquartier, works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other artists are exhibited in historic and contemporary buildings. It would be a shame to visit such a beautiful city and not be able to share the experience with someone – but do not worry, one of our elite international escorts would love to accompany you on your next trip to Vienna.
Vienna has a lot to offer. We have selected three fun date ideas…
Silvio Nickel, Coburgbastei 4, 1010 Vienna
Fancy a bit of fine dining? In Vienna you are spoilt for choice. It’s a pretty luxurious city. This Michelin-starred restaurant is simply outstanding. The bold but modern cuisine is decadent but delicious. The contemporary surroundings are the perfect setting for a date. Silvio likes to come out to meet the guests in person while he prepares the most creative dishes. Treat yourself and your date to the tasting menu, you will not be disappointed.
Hofburg – 1010 Vienna
Visit the enchanting and fairytale-like Homburg. Go on a Sunday and listen to the wonderful sounds of the Vienna Boys Choir in the chapel. A most impressive and decadent building that will simply leave you in awe. Today it is used as the residence of the Austrian Federal President and is definitely worth a visit. Look out for the glittering rubies the size of mandarins
Sans Souci Spa, Burggasse 2, 1070, Vienna
A sparkling 20-metre pool with crystal chandeliers overhead, a state-of-the-art gym and a couples’ suite. At this spa you will feel groomed and pampered from head to toe. Only Austrian natural cosmetics are used in this wonderful upscale spa. Traditional and modern treatments are on the agenda. Open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. you absolutely must make time for, Sans Souci Spa, this relaxation utopia.
No matter which seductive lady you choose, you can be sure that she is educated, articulate and passionate. If the lady of your dreams is not available in Vienna, we can arrange for her to fly from her hometown to Vienna to be with you. This will ensure that you can enjoy a romantic encounter that you will remember for a long time.
We have also selected three of the best hotels for you and your companion to enjoy to inspire you.
Palais Hansen Kempinski, Schottenring 24, 1010 Vienna
Not far from the luxurious Hotel Sacher is the wonderful Palais Hansen Kempinski Hotel. Ten minutes’ walk from the stunning St Stephen’s Cathedral and five minutes from the Sigmund Freud Museum, you will find this gem of a hotel. It was originally built for the 1873 World’s Fair, but has been extensively renovated over the years. I admire the courtyard and original features of this imposing yet welcoming hotel. The décor of the rooms is surprisingly contemporary and modern, but very tasteful and relaxing. The Presidential Suite is our absolute recommendation. It has a piano in the lounge, a marble bathroom with Salvatore Ferragamo products, a wall of flowers and a view of the Ringstrasse. It is fit for a king, a head of state, an international rock star or for you and your beautiful companion.
When you are ready to do something outside your suite, the hotel has an impressive cigar bar. If it’s still too early for you or you are not feeling well, there’s the Michelin-starred Edvard restaurant, the relaxed and casual Austrian restaurant Die Kueche Wien and even Daihachi, an award-winning sushi restaurant. This hotel is truly impressive, and we have not even mentioned the incredible spa! I find that Kempinski hotels always pay special attention to wellbeing, and the Palias Hansen is no exception. You will certainly feel rejuvenated after a day here. A four-season treatment menu, hydrofoil, saunas and steam baths, and six treatment rooms ensure that you and your companion will feel pampered from head to toe.
Hotel Sacher Philharmoniker-Straße 4, 01. Innere Stadt, 1010 Vienna
If you are hungry, Hotel Sacher has two restaurants, three bars and a café. If you want to go exploring, you really are in the centre of the action with the opera, good transport links and a variety of shops and restaurants. If you want to spend a wonderful and unforgettable weekend stay with the woman of your dreams, make this your home away from home for 48 hours.
“Luxury on all levels” The Hotel Sacher, opposite the State Opera, is simply a five-star experience. One would expect nothing less, as US President John F. Kennedy, the Queen, Sharon Stone, Justin Bieber and Naomi Campbell (to name but a few) have all stayed at this prestigious hotel. High ceilings, chandeliers, gold leaf – everything you could imagine in terms of luxurious décor. If you are looking for the best room in the house, it has to be the Madame Butterfly Suite. This palatial suite offers 360-degree views of the stunning city. The hotel itself says, “Our Madame Butterfly Suite is what luxury calls home,” and we could not agree more. Marble fireplaces and bathrooms, parquet floors and a huge king-size bed – as soon as you step onto the terrace, you’ll want to shout “Oh Vienna”, like Ultravox in the 80s! When you and your companion are ready to leave the luxurious suite, you can head to the Sacher Spa for a spa treatment menu with a chocolatey twist, aptly named “Time to Chocolate”.
Hotel Sans, Burggasse 2, 07. Neubau, 1070 Vienna
In the museum district and not far from the Ringstrasse is the comfortable, light and airy Hotel Sans. While I can not say it’s as ostentatious and decadent as the previous two establishments, it’s still a beautiful, luxurious place to stay. It’s a little more wallet-friendly than the Palais Hansen and Hotel Sacher, but it’s still a great place to relax for 48 hours in Vienna. You’d be crazy not to book a suite here. If the round black bathtub does not convince you, maybe the champagne breakfast will. It’s really luxurious, elegant and very comfortable. There’s no gold leaf or over-the-top decor, but it’s still very upscale. Hotel Sans whispers luxury, but it’s everywhere. The Veranda, the hotel’s restaurant, is very intimate and very romantic. It’s a place where you can eat in peace and then move on to the very opulent Le Bar. Le Bar is really beautiful with its polished oak wood, gilded mirrors and pretty chandeliers. With a selection of over 100 champagnes, your weekend getaway is sure to be a “cheers” one. Be sure to book a champagne tasting with canapés here.
The spa is probably my favourite of all three locations. The pool is beautiful and very relaxing. The lighting is fantastic; the chandeliers over the otherwise sparse marble pool really recharge your batteries as your problems float away. If you want to exercise, you can also swim a few laps in the largest hotel pool in Vienna. When you have exhausted yourself swimming like an Olympian, you can relax in the wonderful spa, which specialises in massages to loosen all your knots and tensions. The spa also has a bio-sauna, sauna and steam room. You and your companion will have a wonderful stay at Hotel Sans.
