Even though it is mostly known as Germany’s main city for all things relating to finance, there is so much more to Frankfurt than stock exchanges and banks.
At its heart, it is a very charming German city. Frankfurt is simply delightful; Altstadt (old town) is filled with traditional, half-timbered buildings and its taverns serve traditional local food. It is in the Altstadt that you will find the Römerberg which is where the annual Christmas market is situated.
Things to do on your Frankfurt city break…

We have taken the opportunity to list some hotels for you and your companion’s inspiration.
Villa Kennedy Kennedyallee 70, Frankfurt
An opulent Rocco Forte property situated in the smart Sachsenhausen district. In its current guise the hotel was renamed in 1968, after John F Kennedy himself visited. Although this beautiful hotel is in Frankfurt and not Berlin, he did bond Germany and the United States with his famous ““Ich bin ein Berliner.” quote during his visit to Germany. The style is classic, fused with contemporary. Three new wings were added to the villa but they have been tastefully connected to the original building. Black and white photos of the Villa’s namesake adorn the walls. The spa is not one to miss: set over several floors it has a gym, sauna, pool and steam room, as well as many treatment rooms. Speaking of rooms, there are 163 guest rooms; we recommend staying in one of the recently updated suites. Four of the suites are named after iconic women: Jackie O, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich.
The decor is minimalist but warm, think a nod to the 60’s with dark wooden floors, a touch of houndstooth and yellow, interspersed between all the white decor. Once you are ready to eat, Villa Kennedy has the Gusto restaurant: which offers Italian dishes with a twist. Spaghetti or wagyu beef? You decide! The JFK Bar offers an array of sophisticated cocktails, as one might imagine and sometimes hosts live musicians. You and your companion are sure of a warm welcome here.
Sofitel Opera Opernpl. 16, 60313 Frankfurt am Main
Located (unsurprisingly) by the Alte Oper Frankfurt opera house is this gorgeous 5 star hotel. A touch of Parisian style has influenced this building, I suppose to fit in with the neighbourhood. Inside, the design is more sparse, more contemporary and just overall a bit more German. Velvets, in bright but not garish colours, lots of complimenting sumptuous fabrics but super comfortable and smart is the order of the day for the interior decor. The SO Spa and fitness centre are what I’d call legitimate; they haven’t just stuck a plunge pool in the corner and two cardio machines in an unused area and called it a “wellness centre”. In fact there are two pools, one is part of the spa and the other is owned by Fitness First, so it is a full serviced gym. The spa has high end Carita and Declor products, so you and your companion can indulge in some wonderful treatments during your stay. Suites at the Sofitel Opera have state of the art sound systems and coffee machines but they also have Germany’s only Skinjay showers; aside from being somewhat futuristic looking, use essential oils to infuse your shower experience. These small capsules heighten your shower a little, similar to coffee pods (that’s a point, don’t be getting the coffee and the essential oil shower pods muddled up!).
I am sure you and your companion will figure it out! When you are both all showered and smartened up, there is the Schönemann restaurant that is a meat lover’s dream: schnitzel, beef bourgignon, foie gras, steaks and a coq au vin.
Allure is a long established and any of our gorgeous elite escorts would love to join you for a day in Frankfurt.
