The Corinthia London is one of London’s top luxury hotels, offering a five-star experience that is second to none. Originally the Metropole Hotel and opening its doors in 1885, the Corinthia London is a hotel with a rich London history. It played a crucial role for the government in both World Wars and has undergone a renovation costing almost £500 million in recent years.

Bars and Restaurants and Afternoon Tea

Kerridge’s

Iconic London eatery, Kerridge’s Bar & Grill is a must if you like excellent British food with impeccable service. I recommend a traditional Sunday roast here. Perfect for relaxed celebrity spotting, but everyone is treated like a star here. From the head waiter to the waiters to the sommelier – everyone was very polite and courteous. The food is expensive but excellent, and it’s clear that the restaurant’s namesake has been awarded a Michelin star. Tom Kerridge’s team at Corinthia London will not let him down in this beautiful venue. A must if you are in town; perfect to enjoy with an upmarket companion.

The Garden

The Garden is a real treat all year round. In summer it’s reminiscent of a St Tropez oasis and in winter a luxurious après-ski experience, but do not be confused, you are still at Corinthia London. The menus reflect the seasons and, as usual at this beautiful hotel, the attention to detail is second to none. On the summer menu you’ll find sea bass, pizzette and gelato as if you were in Provence. The winter menus offer sourdough with salted butter, venison ragout and cheese macaroni. A wonderful experience awaits you and a wonderful accompaniment to dinner.

The Northall

Chef Andre offers both a set menu and à la carte at this exceptional restaurant at Corinthia London. Former Cliveden chef Andre has carefully crafted a mouth watering menu using seasonal and local produce. Dine on oysters, sole, steamed trout or fillet of beef, accompanied by fine wines and champagne, with your companion. Prepare to loosen your belt and open your wallet at this 5-star restaurant.

Afternoon Tea at The Corinthia London

What could be more British than afternoon tea in a beautiful historic London hotel? The Corinthia London does not disappoint. Served in the Crystal Moon Lounge, this is no ordinary afternoon tea. Champagne is on offer, of course, but if you really want to impress your date, opt for the Champagne Caviar Afternoon Tea. Priced at £165 per person, you’ll be served small finger sandwiches, scones and sweet treats such as cherry vanilla frangipane tart and strawberry cream sponge cake.

The Crystal Moon Lounge

The Crystal Moon Lounge at Corinthia London takes its name from the stunning Baccarat crystal chandelier that hangs high above in this beautiful, modern yet regal lounge. Adjacent to The Garden, the lounge offers all-day dining and afternoon tea. Ideal if you and your date just want a bite to eat. Salads, oysters and nibbles are available until 6pm. This is accompanied by tea and coffee and a selection of champagnes and wines. Any lady will be impressed.

ESPA Life

If you and your upscale companion are in need of some pampering, the ESPA life spa at Corinthia London will take care of your every need. With four floors of almost 20 treatment rooms, you’ll be pampered from head to toe. A fully functional gym with personal training, saunas, steam rooms and pools will make you feel completely at ease.
