There is no place like London during the Festive period. The lights, the excitement, the chill in the air and the faint sound of Mariah Carey blasting from shops. Ho, ho, ho! We have listed three spots in London you simply cannot miss and where you can stay or sip close by. Just add one of our beautiful models to make all your Christmases come at once.

Fortnum & Mason, 181 Picadilly, W1A 1ER
Since 1707, Fortnum & Mason has symbolised Christmas in this city. For two whole months each year, every inch of the store is adorned with lights and baubles. Every window has a tree and a wreath. The illuminated exterior twinkles at you along Piccadilly. Built on a tradition that is apparent today, as it was over 300 years ago. The staff, for instance, still wear red jackets, as they have for three centuries.
Explore the ground floor, which is filled to the brim with all things British. Take-home gifts of biscuits, teas, jams, and chocolates. Climb the magnificent Victorian oak stairs to find floors filled with Christmas decorations, stationery, candles, fragrance, accessories, hampers and teas, oh so many teas. You will also find an ice cream parlour, a skin care spa and a wine bar. Then, once you have explored all floors of wonder, you can sit down for a well-deserved spot of lunch at 45 Jermyn Street. Fortnum’s very own smart brasserie serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. Perfect for a chilly winter’s day with a hot date.

Ice skating at Somerset House, Strand, Temple, WC2R 1LA
Get your skates on and take a date to Somerset House. You and your chosen model can cling to each other for dear life at this incredibly beautiful ice rink, overlooking a whopping 40-foot Christmas tree. Of course, if you fancy yourself as an accomplished figure skater, you may be more Torvill and Dean, gliding across the ice as if you are at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
Once the official residence of the Queen of England in 1603, this majestic palace is beautiful enough without the twinkling fairy lights. Somerset House is a must-see any time of year but there is just something so special about admiring this building on a cold winter’s evening with a mulled wine and a beautiful lady by your side.
Once you have had enough of skating, you and your chosen model can retire to The Savoy. Less than a ten-minute stroll down Victoria Embankment and onto The Strand, you can both take in the view of Waterloo Bridge and the River Thames along the way. The Savoy is the perfect luxurious lodging, especially at Christmas time. It is undoubtedly one of the best London hotels at this time of year. As you enter the hotel, the lights, the cheerful doorman and the most gorgeous decorations make you feel as if you’ve just stepped into your very own festive film. Edwardian grandeur meets contemporary design, with the best service in town. You and your date can be sure of a sumptuous stay. The Savoy boasts three Gordon Ramsay restaurants within the hotel, so you need not even step back out into the cold winter’s night if you decide not to. The Savoy is also home to the iconic American Bar and its dramatic little sister, The Beaufort bar. If you do decide to venture out, then you have a plethora of incredible eateries on your doorstep, all within walking distance.

The Christmas tree at St Pancras International, Euston Rd, NC1 4PQ
Since 2013, St Pancras station has become known for its Christmas tree. Fortum & Mason opened a store within the station that year and decorated the tree with ribbons in the store’s pistachio green hue. In 2015, Disney decorated a 14-metre-tall tree adorned with plush toys of every Disney character you could imagine, with Mickey Mouse, of course, standing proudly atop the gigantic festive masterpiece. Tiffany & Co. designed the 2018 St Pancras tree with almost 2000 ornaments, and the tree even diffused the jeweller’s signature fragrance at intervals during the day. Eau de parfum emitted around the station, creating an immersive festive experience like no other.
This year, St Pancras’ tree pays homage to the film Wicked. The 11-metre-high tree is decorated in green and gold. The base of the tree provides opulent gold sofas for travellers to rest their weary legs; let’s just hope no one clicks their ruby slippers together. Messages from Oz from Glinda (Ariana Grande) and Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), as well as trailers, are played from tiny screens on the tree. It took over 4000 hours of manpower to bring this magical tree to life.
Take a date along to get into the Christmas spirit and pop into the St Pancras Bar & Brasserie. Press for champagne below the Tracey Emin illuminated masterpiece that says “I want my time with you,” and indulge in a few drinks together.
