Ting boasts arguably one of the best view points in London. Situated on the 35th floor of the iconic, Renzo Piano designed The Shard building. In twenty six seconds you will arrive via a dedicated liftat lightening speed. Ok, I exaggerate. The lifts at The Shard travel at six seconds per metre which is approximately 16mph or in new money, roughly 26 kph. Once your have speedily soared to the sky lobby the lifestyle doors will open to reveal polished marble floors and giant floor to ceiling windows showcasing panoramic views of the glorious London skyline. Furthermore, views of London that include London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Greenwich and Canary Wharf. Depending on your tastes and budget, Ting offers a lunch, dinner menu as well as set menu’s for either meal and afternoon tea. As one would expect Ting’s menu is all out fine dining with a princely price tag attached. If you enjoy the finer things in life then executive chef Paulo Belloni has created a sustainable and ethical menu which is strictly seasonal. Expect Kagoshima A5 wagyu, Dingley Dell pork and Cornish monkfish. Furthermore, all dishes are exceptionally presented and crafted to impress the most discerning of dinner date companions.

Lastly, the cocktail menu is pretty impressive, as is the wine list. If you have time, you and your beautiful date can enjoy a nightcap at Gong, a few further floors up at The Shard. Besides, you and your date may as well make it a date to remember at a world famous landmark.
