Afternoon tea at The Savoy is something every gentleman should enjoy when visiting London.
Tea at The Savoy is a quintessentially British affair. So why not do it in style with one of our gorgeous companions? Whether you were born and raised in London or are just passing through, Afternoon Tea is something you must experience. After all, it’s the Queen’s Jubilee year, and what could be more regal than some finger sandwiches with scones? Afternoon Tea at The Savoy is something of an institution. Of course, every hotel and restaurant in town now offers Afternoon Tea, but the Savoy is something very special.
The Savoy Hotel is located in the Thames Foyer and has been serving Afternoon Tea since 1840. A little piece of history to go with the biscuit, if you’ll. Back then, upper-class couples dressed up in their finest clothes and sat in the Savoy, snacking on the most luxurious treats.
What’s so special about that, you may ask? English muffins, sandwiches, cakes, scones, ice cream and fruit salad are on offer, as are handmade chocolates. To make it a real celebration, we recommend you order a bottle of champagne. You’ll feel like a king with a beautiful queen by your side. A delightfully decadent treat and a true London tradition. If you don’t like tea, the staff will also be happy to offer you a hot chocolate or coffee. It really is a great experience and one to remember in this fabulous city.
Daniel Pearce, the head pastry chef, prides himself on preparing the most delicious delicacies for his guests. The Savoy has adapted to 2022 and now also offers a vegan and vegetarian version of the tea to suit all preferences. If you’d like to enjoy an afternoon with one of our ladies (with some fun afterwards), don’t hesitate, just fill out the online booking form and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.
